Kastina united declares one-week break for players, technical crew, backroom staff

The management of Katsina United FC has declared a one-week break for players, the technical crew, and backroom staff following the completion of the 2025/2026 season’s first stanza.

This is contained in a statement signed by the Club Chairman/Supervising Coordinator Alh Surajo Malumfashi and made available to the media directorate.

According to the statement, the mid-season break starts today, Sunday the 28th of December 2025, and ends on Saturday the 3rd of January 2026.

In the statement, players, technical crew, and backroom staff are expected to report back to the club camp on or before the stipulated date, as training will commence on Sunday, the 4th of January, 2026.

The chairman, who thanked the players, technical crew, and backroom staff for their dedication to the club, wishes them a happy new year in advance and a successful celebration with their families and loved ones.
