Prince Oj joins Ogboru to condole with Amaechi

The Delta State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has paid a condolence visit to the party’s 2027 Vice Presidential candidate, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, following the death of his mother.

The delegation, led by the Delta State ADC Governorship candidate, Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru, included members of the State Executive Committee, National Assembly candidates, and other party leaders. Among those on the visit was the Delta State ADC Youth Leader, Prince Ukuanovwe Godstime Oj.

Speaking during the visit, Chief Ogboru conveyed the heartfelt condolences of the Delta State chapter of the ADC to Amaechi and his family. He described the loss of a mother as a painful experience and prayed for God’s strength, comfort, and grace to help the family through the difficult period. He also shared scriptural words of hope and encouragement.

Responding, Rt. Hon. Amaechi expressed appreciation to the Delta State ADC leadership for the visit and the show of solidarity. He thanked the delegation for standing with him during the period of mourning and also acknowledged the support the Delta State chapter gave him during the ADC presidential primary election.

The condolence meeting was moderated by the Delta State ADC Organizing Secretary, Mr. Anthony Omonigho, and was attended by several party leaders, including the Delta State ADC Chairman, Hon. George Timinimi; National Youth Leader (Female), Princess Obaro Uloho; Delta North ADC Chairman, Madam Ejidoh; Delta Central ADC Chairman, Chief John Enakirerhi; State Publicity Secretary, Mr. Fred Akpevwe; State Treasurer, Rev. JFK Urhukpe; ADC House of Representatives candidate for Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Udu Federal Constituency, Mr. Wealth Priston; ADC House of Representatives candidate for Ethiope Federal Constituency, Chief Eduviere Timothy; former member representing Ethiope Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Solomon Edoja; Dr. Leo Ebinim; State Women Leader, Mrs. Esther Esevohare; Barr. Odibei Gloria; Chief Peters Omaruaye; Dr. Stella Anetor; Chief Mrs. Omasheye; Chief Aghomi Oghenekevwe, the Amakashe of Idjerhe Kingdom, and other party faithful.

The visit underscored the unity and solidarity within the Delta State chapter of the ADC as party leaders joined Amaechi and his family in mourning, praying for the peaceful repose of the deceased and divine comfort for the bereaved family.
