Oborevwori aide commend Tinubu over Eyesan’s appointment into NUPRC

The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Oil and Gas to the Delta State Governor, Engr. Chief Samson Kevwe Anomi has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing a Niger Delta Woman Mrs. Oritsemeyiwa Amanorisewo Eyesan as the Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC).

Anomi in a statement on Sunday described the appointment as ‘a masterstroke” and ‘a bold move’, maintaining that the appointment was a proof to President Tinubu’s commitment to inclusivity and meritocracy.

Anomi also commended his Principal elder Sheriff Oborevwori, for his unwavering support and contribution to the appointment.

“The Governor’s influence and advocacy for the people of Delta State have been instrumental in this appointment. With Eyesan’s vast experience and expertise in the oil and gas sector, she would excel in her new role.

“She is a seasoned professional with a proven track record of excellence. I have no doubt that she will make the petroleum industry proud.”

He went on: “The appointment of Eyesan as NUPRC CEO has been hailed as a significant milestone in the country’s quest for gender equality and women empowerment.

“As the first woman to hold this position, Eyesan is set to make history and bring a fresh perspective to the commission.

“As the saying goes, “when you empower a woman, you empower a nation. This appointment is a shining example of this adage, and we congratulate Mrs. Eyesan on this well-deserved appointment.”

Anomi’s commendation is an evidence to the confidence and trust reposed in President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori. It is a clear indication that their leadership is yielding results and making a positive impact on the lives of Nigerians.
