The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Abraka State Constituency in the 2027 general elections, Hon. Felix Ejovwoke Erhimedafe, popularly known as Ibani has called on his supporters, party faithful and constituents to embrace peace, maturity and civility as political campaigns officially commence.

Erhimedafe, in a statement issued ahead of the commencement of campaign activities, said his campaign would be centred on issues, ideas and practical solutions to the challenges confronting the people of Abraka State Constituency and Delta State.

The APC candidate urged his supporters to resist the temptation to engage in personal attacks, bitterness, inflammatory statements or divisive rhetoric, stressing that political differences should not be allowed to threaten the peace and unity of the constituency.

According to him, the campaign season should provide an opportunity for candidates and political parties to present their programmes, engage the electorate and offer workable solutions to the problems facing the people.

He said, “Our campaign must be about ideas, issues and solutions, not bitterness, personal attacks or divisive rhetoric.”

Erhimedafe further pledged to run a people-centred and issue-driven campaign, promising to focus on the needs, aspirations and concerns of the constituents throughout the electioneering period.

He said his ambition was not merely to occupy a political office but to provide effective representation and become a strong voice for the people, particularly the vulnerable and those whose concerns often go unheard.

“If elected, I will strive to be a strong voice for the voiceless, an advocate for the vulnerable, and a faithful representative of the hopes and aspirations of our people, regardless of political affiliation, class or creed,” he stated.

The APC candidate also appealed to political actors and residents of Abraka State Constituency to work collectively towards ensuring a peaceful electoral process, noting that a healthy political environment was essential for meaningful development.

He called on his supporters to remain respectful in their engagements with opponents and other members of the public, even where political disagreements arise.

Erhimedafe expressed optimism that the 2027 electioneering process could be conducted in an atmosphere that promotes unity, peace and confidence in democratic leadership.

He said his campaign would seek to bring the people together rather than create further divisions, adding that representative leadership must be anchored on service, accountability and the welfare of the people.

He concluded by calling on the people of Abraka State Constituency to support a campaign built around peace, ideas and purposeful representation.
