The Councillor representing Abraka Ward 1 in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, Hon. Stanley Ufuoma Iwhiwhu, has empowered 200 constituents as part of the ongoing Councillors’ Empowerment Programme across the state.
The empowerment initiative, according to Iwhiwhu, is aimed at translating his campaign promises into tangible benefits for the people and providing practical support to constituents across the ward.
The intervention is expected to assist beneficiaries in improving their livelihoods, supporting their families and strengthening economic activities within the community.
Speaking on the initiative, Iwhiwhu expressed appreciation to the people of Abraka Ward 1 for the confidence reposed in him and their continued support since his election.
He reaffirmed his commitment to responsive and people-oriented representation, stressing the importance of remaining accessible to constituents and ensuring that the mandate entrusted to him produces meaningful impact.
The councillor said the empowerment programme reflects his determination to put the welfare of his constituents at the centre of his representation and contribute to the development of Abraka Ward 1 and Ethiope East Local Government Area.
The exercise adds to growing empowerment interventions being undertaken by councillors across Delta State, with elected representatives seeking to support constituents through various forms of assistance and livelihood initiatives.
