The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Abraka State Constituency in the 2027 general elections, Hon. Felix Ejovwoke Erhimedafe, popularly known as Ibani, has commended Chief Efe Don Kigho for his sustained grassroots empowerment and support for the people of Abraka and other APC candidates ahead of the 2027 elections.

Ibani gave the commendation during his movement across Abraka earlier today, where he paid a visit to Don Kigho at his office and acknowledged the significant contributions the APC chieftain has continued to make toward supporting constituents and strengthening the party at the grassroots.

According to Ibani, Don Kigho’s interventions go beyond political rhetoric, noting that his support has included cash assistance and the provision of campaign materials such as T-shirts, banners, aprons and stickers for APC candidates and supporters.

He particularly appreciated Don Kigho for standing behind the people and candidates of the party, describing his interventions as a demonstration of commitment to grassroots politics and community development.

Ibani, who shares a family connection with Don Kigho from Urhuoka, also urged him to sustain the gesture, stressing that meaningful political leadership must remain connected to the needs of ordinary people.

The APC candidate’s visit to Don Kigho came after a series of engagements across Abraka, including a visit to leaders of the Erhimedafe Ladies.

While moving on foot toward Don Kigho’s office, Ibani encountered a hardworking woman operating her small business near the fence of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, before Campus 2.

After interacting with the woman and listening to her request for financial assistance to expand her business, Ibani provided her with the ₦100,000 she requested.

The gesture, according to the account of the encounter, was followed by prayers from the woman, whose name Ibani did not know at the time.

The APC candidate later proceeded to the Small Market area, where his arrival attracted an enthusiastic reception from traders and commercial motorcyclists, with chants of “Ibani, na you we want!” filling the atmosphere.

The reception further highlighted the growing visibility of the APC candidate’s grassroots engagements as political activities intensify ahead of the 2027 elections.

At Don Kigho’s office, Ibani expressed appreciation for the latter’s continued efforts in supporting constituents and APC candidates, particularly through empowerment initiatives and campaign logistics.

The meeting also reinforced the message that political participation, according to the APC campaign, should translate into tangible support for the people rather than remain limited to campaign promises.

Don Kigho’s interventions have in recent times attracted attention within the constituency, particularly his support for grassroots mobilisation and empowerment, as well as his contributions toward the activities of APC candidates and party supporters.

For Ibani, the gesture of commending Don Kigho was not merely a family courtesy but recognition of what he described as practical support for the people and the political movement ahead of the 2027 elections.

As the campaign season gathers momentum in Abraka, stakeholders and aspirants are increasingly focusing attention on grassroots engagement, empowerment and direct interaction with constituents.
