Abraka Constituency: Atom Endorses Erhimedafe, Says Abraka Has Got It Right With APC Candidate
John Atom Enamuotor, Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Security Matters, has congratulated Felix Ejovwoke Erhimedafe, popularly known as Ibani, on his emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) flag bearer for the Abraka State Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly election.
Enamuotor described Erhimedafe’s victory at the APC primary as a positive development for Abraka, expressing confidence that his leadership qualities, grassroots connections and commitment to service would position the constituency for effective representation.
In a congratulatory statement, Enamuotor said he had known Erhimedafe from their formative years and described him as a man whose life has consistently reflected strong values of service, integrity, loyalty and hard work.
According to him, Erhimedafe has remained a committed member of the APC and a loyal party man who has invested considerable time and resources in building relationships across wards and communities within the constituency.
“Indeed, Abraka has gotten it right with Felix Ejovwoke Erhimedafe as the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress for the Abraka State Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly,” Enamuotor stated.
He stressed that Erhimedafe’s strength goes beyond party structures, noting that his strong relationship with ordinary people and his visibility at the grassroots have earned him goodwill across the constituency.
“When you talk of the structure, he has it; how about the street? He’s loyal to them as their hope and inspiration. His friendliness with the grassroots is conspicuous even to his political enemies,” he said.
Enamuotor further expressed optimism that Erhimedafe’s experience in grassroots engagement and political organisation would translate into effective representation for the people of Abraka.
He said the APC candidate had, over the years, devoted himself to cultivating relationships across wards and communities while gaining valuable knowledge of governance and political representation.
“I know Abraka State Constituency will be envied by others,” he declared, urging residents and stakeholders to unite behind Erhimedafe and support his ambition to represent the constituency in the State House of Assembly.
He called on the people of Abraka to see the forthcoming election as an opportunity to support one of their own and work collectively towards achieving a new phase of development and effective representation.
“This is the time to rally behind one of our finest exports to the world of politics and make this dream come true. Let’s do this for Abraka, let’s do this for our future, and let’s do this for our own development,” Enamuotor said.
The governor’s aide also used the occasion to appreciate the National Leader and State Director of Protocol, Delta State Government, Olorogun Onoriode Sunday, for what he described as his relentless efforts towards “bringing back Abraka State Constituency.”
Enamuotor’s endorsement adds to the growing political conversation surrounding Erhimedafe’s emergence as the APC candidate, with attention now expected to shift towards the general election and the contest for the mandate of the people of Abraka State Constituency.
